In its efforts to prove its ability to delve into fashion, Sledgers is making its presence felt strongly by launching a new store at the Fashion Hall, the newly-opened expansion of SM Megamall. Aiming to establish the brand as a fashion label as much as it is a staple leather shoe brand, Sledgers gathered the metro’s elite crowd for the launch of its Elite and Casual line in the country – proving its ability to cater to the high-fashion enthusiasts.
Gracing the event was Florian Rocher, Sledgers’ Export Manager, who expounded further on Sledgers new direction, which is to tap the high-fashion inclined audience with two new lines of footwear that offer a variety of designs and silhouettes inspired by the ever-changing trends and tastes of the market.

Apart from Rocher, one of the country’s prominent design icons, Rhett Eala, also did a live look book styling of Sledgers. Making use of the brand’s three shoe lines, Eala demonstrated how seamless it was to infuse Sledgers’ stylish and fashion-forward footwear into the season’s most trendy and tasteful outfits.
As guests listened intently to the program, wine and French food was being passed around in true French fashion. Highlighting the event was a champagne toast to the new and reinvented Sledgers – signaling its official foray into fashion.
