Fashion Philosopher

“Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.”
Coco Chanel

Indeed, fashion is us, our own selves, and the manifestations of our desires, artistic approach to everything beyond and conceptually relevant to the contemporary generation of post modernism. I am Miguel Alomajan, persistently facilitates the advancement of Fashion as an exceptional field. I took up Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy in Polytechnic University of the Philippines. Many people when they heard that I am a Philosophy Major they basically ask me why I do Photography quite irrelevant to what I am taking as a course.

Philosophy has a branch of expertise which they called Aesthetics from Immanuel Kant dealing with the nature of beauty, art, and taste, and with the creation and appreciation of beauty. It is a critical approach in understanding arts and beauty for the core meaning of each masterpiece. I started as a hobbyist fashion photographer way back 2009 dreaming of becoming one of those fashion photographers until a blessing came meeting with those great designers and until now I am living and pursuing excellence with what Mr. Levenson Rodriguez (founder of Fashion Designers Alliance Manila famously known as FaDAL Manila and Designer for SM Menswear) said when we were talking about the collaboration we made this last Nov. 12, 2011-The Silent Heroes that most of the good ones are hobbyist.

From then, I make sure each work has a substance and beauty both essential for artistic and fashion forwards. Critically made for the audience’s taste based on whichever target market we should focus.

Let me show you the world as I see it.
