Since its establishment in 1984, Camaieu has grown to have at least 1,000 stores in more than 20 countries worldwide. The French fashion brand, exclusively retailed by Planet Sports, Inc. in the Philippines, recently added Manila to this list through an intimate press launch held at the EDSA Shangri-la Hotel, followed by a fashion show held at the East Wing of Shangri-la Plaza.

There’s no doubt that the renowned Dutch brand TW Steel is constantly innovating and carving a niche for itself in the watchmaking industry. “I think it was important for us, as a brand, to be able to offer a collection of models that are more directly suited for formal, business or dress attire,” stated TW Steel’s Chief Design Officer, Ton Cobelens. “In order to do that, a slim watch was the only option as functionality becomes a priority for the wearer, in particular the need to have a timepiece that fits well on the wrist and equally under a shirt.”

 

The Slim Line range is comprised of 10 executions, available only in 45mm dimension, with either steel or A-grade PVD rose gold plated cases. All models utilize a Miyota 1S13 slim movement housed in a case which features a shine finish, adding an additional visual appeal to these sleek and slender pieces.

The TW1300 to TW1305 models sport a stylish turn edge leather croco-print strap, with the familiar two dots amended in position and size slightly in keeping with the slender design.

The TW1306 and TW 1307, on the other hand, feature steel bracelets while TW1308 and TW1309 are presented with steel bracelets resplendent in A-grade PVD rose gold plating.

 

All models in the Slim Line Collection are embellished with sapphire crystals, while additional highlights of the new range include the use of sunray dials, with matching hands and numbers, all with a shine finish in keeping with the cases. Championing both form and function, each model is also 5 ATM water resistant.

Inspired by the nourishing power of water, P&G launches its newest innovations in beauty care – Olay AquAction and Pantene Aqua Pure. “Aqua Beauty”, an event recently held at the poolside of Sofitel Manila, took beauty to new depths and invited Filipinas to dive into radiance.

Throughout the day, it gets dry and loses its suppleness.” In fact, dry skin is caused by a combination of moisture loss due to the environment and skin fatigue. Skin is like a leaky bucket, constantly loses moisture to its surroundings. By just normal breathing and evaporation from skin, women can lose up to 2 glasses of water a day! In addition to the effects of the environment, P&G scientists discovered a second cause of moisture loss – skin fatigue. This is the loss of skin energy, which means the skin loses its ability to hold on to moisture, causing the “leaky bucket” to be even more leaky as a result. To keep skin hydrated and bouncy in the long-term, skincare products need to address both causes of skin moisture loss.

 

New Olay AquAction with HydraLock technology hydrates to deliver firm, bouncy and supple skin. HydraLock technology is a combination of two powerhouse ingredients that quench the twin causes of skin dryness. P&G has discovered an ingredient that is capable of outperforming hyaluronic acid, an ingredient known to fill and seal skin’s leaky bucket and seen as the current gold standard in hydration care. Known as WSK, this ingredient was extracted from the white jelly leaf, renowned throughout ancient Chinese history and modern times for its beauty-enhancing properties.

 

Meanwhile, Niacinamide brings the skin energy level of aged cells back to more youthful levels, so that over time, it gives skin the energy to renew itself, and make components that enable skin to hold onto its own moisture more effectively.
