BRIC’S, the internationally acclaimed 60 year-old Italian luggage brand, recently made the announcement that the BRIC’S – Francesca Versace collection called Travel Sense will debut in Asia here in the Philippines, specifically the BRIC’S Shangri-La Mall’s new East Wing store and in the SM Aura BRIC’S boutique before its launch in other Asian countries.
TRAVEL SENSE traces its origins from cooperation between Bric’s, a top-level testimonial of Italian style in the luggage and accessories market; and Francesca Versace, born in a family of fashion designers and a designer herself. The collaboration stems from an interaction between two different interpretations of travelling: Francesca, for who travel is a reason for life; and Bric’s, whose core-business has been founded on the words industria, valigeria, fine: industry, travel, luggage, and quality.
The collaboration between Francesca and Bric’s combines an interplay of different elements and strikes a perfect balance between technology, tradition, craftsmanship, functionality, quality, and fashion.
The collection of bags and accessories revolves around the theme of travelling which is re-interpreted through the recurring feature of a frame as an element that encloses an entire existence: dreams, desires, emotions and most especially moments that shape one’s life.
A frame – the overall theme selected by Francesca for the Bric’s FV_Bags collection – reflects her personality and her natural talent. It also symbolizes one’s life: dreams, wishes, emotions, and moments that are part of its history. Just like a photo, a place that is rooted deep in one’s heart can be ideally enclosed in a frame.

I can never forget Francesca Versace said to me when I’m taking photos for my blog that she can recognize me because of my green hair.
And when her mother ask me why my hair is green, I said, “My hair is naturally green, I just died my roots black” and she was laughing at what I said and She agreed.
It was a night full of show and surprises as they unveiled the Francesca Versace Collection and opened the store in a visually pleasing graphics show.
