The country is in need now of people who can do more, for other people to inspire and be moved, to help and give, to encourage and be the light.

After the Yolanda crisis, I commend everyone for  everyone is a hero even in their own little way.

And to the Rexona Philippines Team together with Bridges PR that brought the Do More Awards to existence, congratulations!

The night was so inspiring, very timely that the country needs them, the people who are really working for the betterment of the country and of the Filipino here and abroad in their ways. And vey timely that they need inspiration especially our brothers that are Yolanda Victims, even if they didnt know who are these people or the event itself because they dont have the resources right now, I know that in the hearts of the public, they reached them.

The famous Human Hair Bow was made by Paul S.J. Goh, South East Asia’s famous bow maker.

Trained in the Violin Bowmaking School of America, Archetier Paul .J. Goh is the Southeast Asia’s only bowmaker. Having been exposed to music at young age, he has dedicated his life to creating handmade bows for stringed instruments in the finest French tradition. He played as the principal violinist for 7 years in the Philharmonic Orchestra in Singapore.

In 2006, Paul S.J. Goh, left the Ministry of Education to pursue a career in bowmaking, taking inspiration from the 19th century archetiers Pajeot Tourte. Each bow made from his studio in Singapore is designed with straightforward refinement and attentive crafting. His Expertise in making finely crafted bows has turned the impossible to possible with the Cream Silk hair bows to be used in the World’s First Hair Symphony Orchestra.

This August 24th, The University of Makati, will be brimming with excitement as world-class talents battle for Clear Supremacy. Powered by Clear, the number one men’s shampoo brand, the biggest football all-star game in the nation shines brighter in its second year as World Cup champion Fabio Cannavaro and football legend Dennis Wise join James Youngusband, Phil Younghusband and the country’s top football talents.

After more than four weeks of voting Team James and Team Phil was decided last August 10th at the SM Megamall Events Center. With thousands of votes casted on the Clear Facebook page, the voting pool of 50 – consisting of Philippine Azkals, top United Football League players, University superstars and some local footballing celebrities – was trimmed down to 34, each one to be drafted by captains James and Phil Younghusband.
Clear Brand Manager, Drew Copuyoc said, “the rivalry this year is so intense. Throughout the four weeks both brothers were really gunning for that first pick.”

One unique facet of this year’s competition, however, is that it would be the fans that determined the first pick. Since July 3 fans have tirelessly supported their favorite team through digital participation – the reward being that the number one digitally active fan will get the chance to fly to Brazil with the Younghusband brothers in 2014.
Garnering more than 100 thousand online points, Team Phil was awarded the first draft pick. The Clear Dream Math draft consisted of three rounds. The first round saw James and Phil take turns in selecting their top five picks, Phil was given an extra pick for having won the matchup last year. In the second round, the brothers drew lots to complete their roster. Then in the last round, the brothers were each given one wild card pick. The wildcard pick could be any player either within the voting pool, or outside the voting pool.
The biggest headline, however, was that it would be football legends’ Cannavaro and Wise to select which team they would play for.

Vowing to help Team James gain revenge on younger brother Phil, Cannavaro chose to play on Team James. “Last year’s match was one sided, this year I want to help James even the score,” Cannavaro said regarding his selection.

Team James Players for the Round 1 are Yves Ashime, Jason De Jong, Misagh Bahadoran, Saba Garmaoudi and Oussenyou Diop.

For the Round 2- Roxy Dorlas, Chieffy Caligdong, Tony Toni, Nicolas Bolzico, Jonah Romero, Ian Araneta, Simon Greatwich, Andrew Santiago, Daniel Matsunaga, Slick Rick, Fabio Ide, Ref Cuaresma and Izzo.

Wise on the other hand selected Team Phil because of his desire to win. “Like Phil I love to win and I always love to score goals, and that’s the type of team I want to be associated with,” Wise said.
With the teams set, the battle for Clear Supremacy inches closer to completion.

Having previously played with the prestigious Chelsea FC, the British-Filipino plays for the Philippine Azkals and the Loyola Meralco Sparks Football Club.

Though already one of the top players in the country, he took things a step further by co-founding and coaching for the Younghusband Football Academy. With a level 2 UEFA coaching badge under his belt, Phil hopes to promote and develop young Filipinos’ skill and passion for the sport, ultimately spreading a deeper appreciation for football in the country. He embodies the Rexona philosophy through his efforts of training and supporting aspiring athletes – something the brand also advocates through its own initiatives.

Last night was a celebration of good food and ambiance at the Enderun, Fort for the launch of the coolest sneaker shoes Bensimon. It was a festivity with their Parisian market-like exhibits of the shoes and their artworks.

Thirty years ago, there were two brothers who shared the same passion for advocating the Parisian love of life. Serge and Yves Bensimon created a symbolic icon of a classic sneaker design which embodies what the true Parisian love of life is- simple, effortless, and natural. This Philosophy is what the brothers wanted to communicate through their footwear, which is shown in their perfectly imperfect look and feel.

Bensimon has built its roots in the European market, and is inspired by travel, military and true Parisian fashion. The sneakers of Bensimon cover an array of styles, colors, prints for men, women and children.
