While still keeping the brand’s vision of taking today’s dynamic woman from the hustling work place to a relaxing weekend getaway in style, this season pushes its boundaries to challenging the norm. While exploring new possibilities to break free from the standardization of the mass market, the fashion powerhouse consciously combines novel and appealing solutions with new concepts to continuously re-enchant its loyal consumers.

Characterized by the 4 archetypes of the BCBGMAXAZRIA customer, this season’s ambassadors embody each one. Xandra Rocha, an up and coming restaurateur, TV Show host and modern businesswoman, celebrates her youth by being a Visionary. She was always the independent thinker and trendsetter who trail blazes through her day-to-day activities with the use of inspirational fashion expressions.

We also have Jessica Kienle, a model and entrepreneur of Swiss-Filipino descent from an affluent family who characterizes the Socialite—part of the enviable elite and is well-versed in the latest must-have styles. Mikaela Lagdameo, on the other hand, loves to play with styles that range from casual and relaxed to classically elegant. A Connoisseur in her own light, she shines in the field of modeling and business, where she continues to balance personal and family life. To round up our list we have our Urban Rocker, Jerika Ejercito, who fancies being on the edge and effortlessly cool.

Inspired by vintage elements with modern details, the apparent mirroring of the eclectic style of the Gypsies in Southern Europe is very evident in the designs of Wild Life. The primary color palette that the shift dresses, tunics, loose pants, sweaters and oversized jackets don are a rich blend of blues, burgundies, and soft neutrals anchored by black and white to provide a clean, and modern touch.

On the other hand, Lady Remix is the new breed of androgynous couture. It strives to combine the tomboy chicness of streamlined designs with the dainty and refined details of lady like structures. This revolutionary approach is the answer to the quest of femininity that pairs sensuality with restraint.

Completing the persona of Lady Remix features the emergence of tailored separates: the Men’s Trouser and the 70’s Suit. There will also be Knee Length A-line and Trumpet Silhouettes for the key pieces in this set. With pintucks, lace inserts, jacquard patterns and fabric striping and color-blocking, BCBGMAXAZRIA pushes the borders in creating pattern. These visual elements break the monotony of the pieces to make each skirt, pantsuit or jacket a class in its own kind. The fabrics used to create the Lady Remix collection span from a variety of crepe suiting, silk crepe de chine, silky georgette, satin-back crepes, lace accents, silk and cotton canvas, eco leather and silk blends in sweater jacquards.

BRIC’S, the internationally acclaimed 60 year-old Italian luggage brand, recently made the announcement that the BRIC’S – Francesca Versace collection called Travel Sense will debut in Asia here in the Philippines, specifically the BRIC’S Shangri-La Mall’s new East Wing store and in the SM Aura BRIC’S boutique before its launch in other Asian countries.

TRAVEL SENSE traces its origins from cooperation between Bric’s, a top-level testimonial of Italian style in the luggage and accessories market; and Francesca Versace, born in a family of fashion designers and a designer herself. The collaboration stems from an interaction between two different interpretations of travelling: Francesca, for who travel is a reason for life; and Bric’s, whose core-business has been founded on the words industria, valigeria, fine: industry, travel, luggage, and quality.

I can never forget Francesca Versace said to me when I’m taking photos for my blog that she can recognize me because of my green hair.

And when her mother ask me why my hair is green, I said, “My hair is naturally green, I just died my roots black” and she was laughing at what I said and She agreed.

It was a night full of show and surprises as they unveiled the Francesca Versace Collection and opened the store in a visually pleasing graphics show.
